The Competence Profile is designed to give a very detailed view of a persons competence and skills in relation to a given job profile. The Competence Profile is therefore a very solid tool for recruitment and selection at every level in a company.

Competence profiles can be made of groups of employees in order to get a view on the current competence levels of the individuals, groups, departements, etc. This tool serves very well when building or transforming a sourcing organisation or as a tool for long term competence development. The Competence Profile typically includes 10-15 different competence areas and may answer i. e. the following questions:

How competent is the person/group/department in the area of commercial law?

How do the individuals react to changes?
